Training to Work an Industry Niche (TWIN), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Charlotte, North Carolina, operate mainly for educational and charitable purposes. Our mission is to support and promote the development of individuals on three levels: Workforce Development, Career Development, and Small Business Development.
Workforce Development
The objective of the Workforce Development Program is to establish and implement career pathway programming whereby unemployed or underemployed individuals 18+ years of age can gain hard job skills relevant to in-demand jobs in the local region. Thereby, increasing their opportunities for employment.
Career Development
The Career Development segment offers Youth Awareness Workshops to inform and expose middle school and high school students to potential career opportunities associated with high demand industries that may not be commonly discussed or explored in the standard school curriculum.
Small Business Development
Lastly, Small Business Development provides networking events and mini workshops for aspiring and established entrepreneurs to discuss critical topics related to starting up and growing a business.
